Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) is driving significant changes towards modernization of finance process, controllership and reporting and your role will be contributing to its success. Your role as a Financial Analyst will support implementation of Operations P&L (OCOGS) and newly developed Product Costing and Sourcing data cubes. You will drive analysis and reporting and prepare financial modeling based on the data. You will become a finance partner to the AIG Sourcing team monitoring and evaluating sourcing savings programs and cost changes. You will partner across teams to standardize and optimize processes. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, questioning status quo and looking for opportunities for improvement. You will be reporting to Senior Finance Manager AIG Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Product Costing database (numerous ERPs)
  • Ensure data integrity via timely analysis and reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Create and maintain analysis, dashboards and visualizations of Product Costs to drive better understanding of Product cost trends (per SKU and/or product families) identify and monitor cost drivers and their use for financial reporting and inventory valuation
  • Partner with Finance and Operations divisions to review/improve Product Costing reporting and forecasting processes
  • Provide forecast input to commercial teams on COGS in order to determine standard margin
  • Maintain financial models of future COGS development (Forecast/AOP) and impact of cost roll
  • Expanding the cube to additional standardized areas of COGS (e.g. Install&Warranty, Scrap, E&O)
  •  Finance partner to the Global Sourcing team to drive measuring and monitoring global AIG
  • sourcing saving programs, validation of sourcing KPI’s (Delta P, PPV) and ROI’s
  • Analyze Material cost trends and movements (per SKU, supplier and/or product families) and other inbound cost (e.g. freight) and impact to Product costing
  • Partner to execute a common Finance data strategy across groups to enable improved data availability and business insights

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in a finance role
  • Degree in finance, accounting or business
  • Complex, matrixed, multinational organizational experience preferred
  • Systems experience – Hyperion, SAP, QAD, Navision or other ERP system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and analytical systems BI/PowerBI
  • Ability to work with large financial datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with Operations/Costing or manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Strong win/win attitude with emphasis on collaboration
  • Strong and confident communicator, demonstrate basic visualization communication methods
  • Ability to work in rapidly changing environment, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering consistent, accurate and reliable work
  • Comfortable working with remote teams and communication tools
  • Able to be flexible with working hours to suit project needs (varying time zones)
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) language skills in English and Lithuanian
