Urban was born in 2014 from a desire to revolutionise the wellness industry. After realising there was no convenient way to access wellness treatments in a world where dinner, cabs and groceries could all be ordered at a touch of a button, founders Jack Tang and Giles Williams went about fixing things. The result was a cutting-edge platform that connects thousands of skilled wellness practitioners with people in need of self-care.

Five years on, and Urban is the number one wellness app in Europe, committed to a mission of providing convenient and affordable access to wellness. They’re also dedicated to doing it in a way that’s fair for the practitioners, working closely together to ensure the platform is easy, flexible and profitable for them too.

Services include 16 different types of massages, 12 types of nail services, facials in partnership with Dermalogica ProSkin60, and osteopathy. All treatments are conducted by pre-vetted and qualified practitioners who come fully-equipped to your home, office or hotel. Prices start from £32.

Urban has now launched in three cities across the UK – London, Manchester and Birmingham – as well as in Paris, with plans to expand further in the coming year.
